Belles and Bluebells

This week we were invited to a garden party by our dear friends Mr. and Mrs "H" to pick bluebells for spring.   We had no idea that when we went through their gate a fairyland was waiting on the other side.  The girls were joined by friends and armed with scissors to pick to their hearts content in this magical back yard, filled with lilac, tulips, stepping stones, flowering trees, a little bench under the lilacs and of course bluebells.   To refresh the ladies after all their hard work, a tray containing little glasses of pink lemonade, another of cookies;  pink iced sugar, lacy oatmeal, and pink sandwich.  And to top it all off and to the delight of all the little girls present, a pretty bowl filled with pink marshmallows.   It was a beautiful day.

Alisha, what beautiful pictures! They look like a Monet painting. What fun memories for your girls!

This is too cute! Bluebells are so pretty when they're bunched together like that. I have so many in my yard, but they always crop up in the wrong places, like the lawn! :) Love that your girls had an adventure picking flowers and having tea. I want a girl! I've been busy, you know, playing dinosaurs, trucks, and the like, here. :) xo
